Question for all....

Sat Dec 4, 2004, 8:15 PM
An interesting question was asked to me that I finally had to think about of the first time in a long long time. Someone at school was talking to me about the music I listen to, and in his curiosity he asked me a very simple but yet complicated question. He asked me why do I listen to the music that I do. I had to think about it for a while and to be honest, I couldn't think of an answer to give him. I just ended up telling him that it put me at ease whenever I listened to it. Then I ended up going on to say that in some cases I could even relate to what was being sung. So we continued to talk for abit longer and it came to a point where he ended up asking another simple yet complex question. His question was this time, of all the songs out there, which one can you relate your life to? Once again, I couldn't give him a quick answer. I ended up scorlling through my song on my laptop and after abit, I stumbled upon the answer. The song that can be related to my life is by Green Day, called Boulevard of Broken Dreams. It seems wierd when I think about it, but that song pretty much sums up my life.

Anyways, now to get to the point of this. After this conversation, I thought i would be an interesting topic. So to anyone who reads this journal, I ask you this question: What song out there can you relate your life to? Just simple question that can have a simple answer.

Well that is all for now,
Later

hmmmm let me think, my theme song has always been "Unwell" by match box20 but really the two songs that are about my life would be "my december" by linkin Park and "Let me fall" by Josh Groban, which are both excellent songs :D

the ones that really stick out are:
you belong to me by lifehouse (on the shrek soundtrack)
imaginary by evanesence
wait and bleed by slipknot
these walls by trapt
you lead by my friend daniel meyer (its really wiggy)
and another one by him that isnt titled yet but its actually kinda about me
narf.... thats a lot of songs...... sorry
i think its weird how you can hear a song and it instantly triggers memories (usually ones youd prefere to go away- o well) but its interesting how a musician envoke such strong emotion in their listeners- its like they take whatever theyre feeling, translate it into sound, and when peolpe hear it (if its too manyf its done correctly) it reverts back to emotion and the listener experiences the things the artist is conveying.... anyways...
